WALTER BOLLENDONK was born in New York City in 1897, and studied at the Parsons School and National Academy. He worked for many years on the art staff of Hearst Publications in New York City. He exhibited at the Salmagundi Club, 1974 (Louis E. Seley Prize); Salons of Am; S.Indp.A, Rockport AA; Savage Club; Am. Artists Prof. Lg.; North Shore AA; Hudson River Valley AA; NACAL. He died in Rockport, Mass in 1977.
